Volunteer Work Days on the Farm!

Bring a sack lunch and wear sturdy boots! We'll supply gloves and tools. Children ages 8+ welcome to participate!

Our work on April 2 is to take out the red elderberry (a toxic native shrub) from the woodlot where our dairy goats will browse. You'll need some upper body strength and the ability to stand and walk on uneven ground. (Kerri can do this work, even with her spaghetti arms...) This work is part of our regenerative strategy to use silvopasturing to manage our woodlot. Come learn what silvopasture is, and meet the goats whose tummies you'll be sparing from cyanide in their salad bar!
