Food + Faith Apprenticeships:
A season of formation in regenerative agriculture and spiritual community
Applications are open now for 2026 apprenticeships!
Is your vocational path calling you deeper into relationship with Creation? Are you discerning or preparing for meaningful work in farming, in community organizing, in nonprofit management, or in religious leadership?
Come immerse yourself in the Holy Spirit's greening power with a stay of 6 weeks or longer on a regenerative farm with a Christian rule of life. The structure of the days, weeks and seasons provides opportunities to learn farming skills, grow spiritually, collaborate in creative projects and deepen your relationship with Creation.
Shared housing and wages are provided for all Food + Faith Apprentices, plus organic produce from the farm. Individuals interested in academic credit can work with their institution and wtih GCF's own farmer-professor, Dr. Jen Blecha, to tailor work and learning to your specific program.
While followers of Jesus may find life at Good Courage a natural fit, interested individuals of any faith or no religious affiliation are encouraged to apply; you'll find an open-minded, welcoming community of practice here! The farm is a queer-affirming space. The farmers are committed to learning anti-racist ways of living and working in rural community.
If a seasonal apprenticeship doesn't fit into your plan for 2026, we'd still love to hear from you and to imagine possibilities for a shorter workstay in our community.
