Volunteer Work Days on the Farm!

On April 9, we'll be applying mycelium-rich wood-chip mulch to our new berry fields. The mulch will suppress weeds and innoculate the soil with healthy microbial life and slow-release nutrients. Come learn about mulch as an alternative to the broad-spectrum herbicides used in conventional agriculture.  Help us get ready to grow delicious berries that will become part of our summer "Pie + Prayer" ministry and our "Biscuits + Bible" ministry. 

Wear sturdy shoes and bring a sack lunch. We'll supply gloves and tools.  This work requires some upper body strength and the ability to walk and stand on uneven ground. Everyone is encouraged to work at a pace that feels healthy for their bodies. Children ages 8+ are welcome to join in the work!
